No, you must have completed ECD 101 at one of the 16 South Carolina Technical/Community Colleges in 2001 or later in order to receive the Early Childhood Credential and it is required for all of the Level 2 and Level 3 Credentials.
Can teachers/directors who already have the coursework from a technical/community college receive a Level 2 or Level 3 Credential?
If you have completed the required courses in 2001 or later, you can apply for and receive the credentials.

No, the course work must be within the last ten years-2001 or later.

Yes, if they complete the course work for a Level 2 or Level 3 Credential beginning in 2012, they can receive the Smart Money Bonus if they meet the eligibility requirements of being at least 18 years of age, a South Carolina resident, and working in a South Carolina regulated child care program.
