Mentors

A TAP Mentor is one who provides guidance, information and feedback for the TAP Candidate, and is a role model as well. The guidance provided helps the TAP Candidate improve their skills in providing technical assistance. It is recommended that the TAP Mentor not be the supervisor of the TAP Candidate. 

• A TAP Mentor has been a G1, G2 or G3 Certified TAP for at least one year.
• The TAP Mentor has attended a training on the roles and responsibilities of a mentor in the SC TAP System
